Winter Storm Warning issued until Tuesday.

Local flooding is possible.

The National Weather Service in Hanford has issued a Winter Storm Warning for Yosemite and Mariposa County, which will be in effect through 4 p.m. Tuesday. Snow is predicted for Yosemite, with a possible total of up to a foot.



Employees are to follow Winter Storm Procedures:
      *Put on them tire chains
      *Clean off them headlights
      *Get Ready to drift

There is also a Flash Flood Warning for the areas that were burned in the Rim Fire.



The rain is expected to last throughout the week, with heavy rain forecast for today and Tuesday. Rain should continue through Wednesday and Thursday, with snow still being forecast for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day in Mariposa.
